In its latest market missive, PLUS Markets Group announced the launch of its new trading and market surveillance technology – supplied by OMX under an agreement first announced in April – which has boosted the array of stocks investors can trade on PLUS from small and mid-cap counters ‘to full coverage of all London-listed shares including the FTSE 100’. As well as the news that its trading services offering has expanded ‘significantly’, PLUS said it had welcomed five new investment firms as PLUS market members, taking the total number of trading members on the new platform to 53.
Meanwhile, Transdermal Cosmetics was brought to PLUS by colourful corporate adviser Atlantic Law and boasts the global licence to exploit a cosmetics-related technology that allows high-density substances such as collagen and elastin to be delivered into the skin without causing inflammation. Other new entrants include Ace Liberty & Stone, a real estate hopeful with ambitions to build an income producing commercial and residential portfolio. Its focus will be the UK, although opportunities abroad are also being considered. Events management group Three’s A Crowd (see People) debuted with a £2.5 million market cap and plans to expand into other areas through the creation of a web lifestyle portal and via acquisitions.
