Johnston Press has acquired four paid-for newspapers from Mortons Media. The titles, which include the Horncastle News series, the Louth Leader series, the Skegness News and the Market Rasen Mail, circulate in Lincolnshire. The deal is subject to the approval of the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry. In the year ended January, the business generated sales of £1.8m. Attributable net assets at December were £350,000. The titles will be incorporated into the East Midlands Division of Johnston Press.
