Netcall develops and distributes communications networks and systems for the call centre industry. The systems enable companies to build e-business models incorporating telephony into web, WAP and traditional media applications. Its flagship product is QueueBuster, a product that can reduce call centre operating costs and improve customer service. The market for the product is apparently growing at around 30% annually - by 2002 there is expected to be around 18,500 call centres in Europe. In April, Freeserve acquired an 8.6% stake for £4.5m and just recently global telephony group One.Tel implemented NetCall's technology. Losses this year are expected to come in at £2.3m.
