This specialist engineering group has been withdrawing from unprofitable areas of the market in a bid to prop up margins and profits. These moves have been accompanied by other changes, most important of which was the restructuring of the business into two divisions - WEEKS Consulting and WEEKS Laboratories. The impact of all the changes can be seen in the figures for the year to March. Turnover fell to £15.3m (£16m) but profits improved from £665,000 to £786,000.
