The Cambridge-based biotech has received positive results from clinical trials of its yellow fever vaccine. Phase III trials in the US of Arilvax showed that it was safe and immunogenic, and was thus no less effective than the control vaccine used in the trials. Arilvax has other advantages, such as that it can transported under normal refrigeration rather than in dry ice. Peptide chief executive Dr John Brown said that the results represented 'a significant milestone for Peptide and a major step towards commercialisation in the US of our first product'.
