Hambledon Mining shares bounced back up to 19.5p last week on news that production had started at its Ognevka treatment plant in Kazakhstan. The plant is designed to treat up to 350,000 tonnes a year of copper, gold and silver-containing residues from old zinc smelters. The initial target is 240,000 tonnes. The next big news should be the commencement of mining at the Sekisovskoye mine. Tipped here in April last year at 12.75p, Hambledon remains a firm hold at the current 19.75p.
