The trading statement from ServicePower suggests things are moving in the right direction though there is no confirmation at this stage that it will actually reach break-even at some stage in the current year. First-half revenues are up from £3.4 million to more than £5.8 million and operating losses are ‘reduced’. As outsourcing contracts gather momentum, the second half promises to be better still.
The shares have lost about a third of their value in the last three months – though for no obvious reason other than the market’s disinterest. However, if you bought on either of my recommendations at 10p and then 38p in the last two-and-a-half years, continue to hold at the current 22.5p. ServicePower’s field services scheduling operations are poised for huge growth in the next year or so.
