Copper and uranium prospector Kalahari Minerals reports encouraging drilling results from its Ida Central uranium project in Namibia.
According to AIM-quoted Kalahari, drilling at Ida has shown results including 41 metres at 0.234kg of U308 per tonne of ore, with one metre at 0.481kg a tonne. The company says geometric surveys also suggest its licences in the northern Uis area are prospective for uranium, though progress at another project, Rossing South, has so far been slow.
Commended by Growth Company Investor as a punt when they floated last March at 15p, Kalahari shares have now reached 28p, up 0.75p this morning, valuing the company at £28 million. Hold on.
