Resource boost at Cluff Gold

Cluff Gold says its gold resources exceed 1.4 million ounces after increasing 70 per cent at Baomahun in Sierra Leone.

AIM-quoted Cluff, which lost £1.9 million last year, says its auditors, SRK, signed off a resource of 880,000 ounces in November at Baomahun, a joint venture with US-owned Winston Mines. The company, which raised £15.4 million at 68p last April and has raised another £15.4 million at the same price this month, says it now has funds to construct two projects at Kalsaka in Burkina Faso and Angovia in Côte d’Ivoire, and to continue ‘aggressive’ exploration at Baomahun and elsewhere.

At 70p, up 0.5p today, Cluff shares have speculative possibilities.
