Smallcap broker Charles Stanley has retained a bullish stance on Vantis, the financial services group, following its recent upbeat trading statement.
Stanley's analyst Ben Archer believes Vantis is a firm buy, following its statement that results for the year to April would be in line with expectations. Archer is enthused that the integration of Numerica and Booth Anderson Chester is complete and generating 'encouraging' levels of cross referals, while recent purchase Rouse & Co extends Vantis' overall 'geographical reach and client base'.
Archer is looking for 2006 to deliver profits of £11.2 million from sales of £70.5 million. That puts the group on a p/e of 15.2, which falls to a mere 13.2 for 2007, when profits of £13.6 million are expected.
