Bombed-out home services and motor franchise group Myhome International has appointed the redoubtable Jon Pither as non-executive chairman. Pither, 73, who graces the boards of The AIM VCT, Aortech International, St Helen’s Capital, Southern Bear and a string of others, replaces Russell O’Connell, who has become chief executive responsible ‘for delivering the board’s strategy’.
Esher-based Myhome is losing the boardroom services of Jonathan Jenkins, son of Ofex (now PLUS) founder John Jenkins, and fellow director Simon McNeill-Ritchie.
Last year, profits soared, but so did trade payables and there was a £2.5 million net cash outflow from operations.
