Internet hosting business Host Europe has launched MyServerWorld to spearhead its push for profits. MyServerWorld is the successor to its current virtual control panel (VCP), a means through which clients can manage content and design on their websites. Whereas VCP has fairly limited options, MyServerWorld is said to be 'the most advanced' tool of its kind, affording far greater functionality. Host Europe has launched the product as it draws near to profitability. Recently published interims to June revealed a £9.5m reduction in losses to £269,000, on revenues up £2.3m to £6.5m. Impressively, cash reserves swelled to £1.5m (£946,000). The firm has managed to improve its performance consistently throughout the dotcom backlash and is forecast by house broker Evolution Beeson Gregory to achieve breakeven this year and a £1.1m profit in 2003.
