County Contact Centres, formerly known as COUNTYWeb.com, now focuses on call-centre software, having sold its web directory business. In the year to June it made a loss of £535,000 on sales of £1.3m. Of this, £219,000 relates to its discontinued web directory activities. At period end cash balances stood at £565,000, which chairman Peter Brown describes as 'adequate'. The company has two divisions: the Ansaback call-centre arm, and CallScripter, which develops software for call-centre workers.
