Following chairman Tom Allison's decision to step up Clydeport's vertical integration process, the West Coast port operator has acquired a trucking firm. Gray Brothers, based in Dumbarton, just outside Glasgow, specialises in container transport, especially to and from the port at Greenock. James Craig, Clydeport's managing director, said 'the acquisition is very much in line with our overall policy of controlled expansion of Clydeport Transport.'
