As predicted at the interim stage, the business consultancy has used some of the £1.3m on its balance sheet to pick up businesses overseas. It has taken a 30% stake in Inovit, Sweden's largest internet provider in the areas of HR, training, education and recruitment. Sweden is one of the most 'wired' countries in Europe, with 50% of the population already using the internet. Chief executive Gordon Stewart believes that internet presence will be the single deciding factor when it comes to the success or failure of traditional business consultancies.
