Assays of recent drilling results at AIM Resource's Perkoa zinc project in Burkina Faso suggest encouraging quantities and grades.
The assays from the drilling programme, part of a bankable feasibility study being carried out by consulting group Snowden, shows 5.1 metres at Perkoa at 23.4 per cent zinc, 14 metres at 18.6 per cent zinc and 11 metres at 17.5 per cent zinc. AIM Resources bought the Perkoa project from mining company BHP Billiton with an inferred resource of 7.06 million tonnes with a zinc grade of 17.7 per cent and these latest drilling results are distinctly encouraging.
Floated in March after a £1.45 million placing at 2p by broker Hichens Harrison with accountant Grant Thornton as nominated adviser, the company has seen its shares advance to 2.88p, up 0.13p today. Hold on.
